At this year’s Milan Motorcycle Show in November 2007, SYM revealed a prototype portable electric powered scooter that was a hit for its innovative design. Developed in collaboration with MIT’s Smart Cities Group and ITRI, Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute, the compact, light-weight, city scooter was designed to be foldable, with a motor on each of its two wheels. And, whereas a typical scooter has over 1,000 parts, this scooter only has around 150 parts.
